Equia Forte Restoration

A high caries risk patient is diagnosed with active caries on the distal of tooth 15. Soprolife is used in this case for caries diagnosis and caries risk analysis. After the use of sonic diamond instruments for cavity opening, caries infected dentin was excavated with manual instruments resulting in a deep cavity. A glass hybrid restorative material (Equia Forte) was selected for the realization of the definitive restoration due to its well know biocompatibility, fluoride release chemical adhesion to tooth structure, sealing ability and potential remineralization effect. Note the pleasing final aesthetic result.
